Large Scale Touring Car Euros - Martin is Champion!!

Bayer takes the throne ending Mighty Markus' 4 year reign..
We witnessed again how cruel racing can be at times, not just to the drivers, but also to the crowd! The favorite, Ales Bayer sadly did not make the final due to engine trouble in the last minutes of his semi final. To make matters worse, the dominant Markus Feldmann was also taken out of the fight early only ten laps into the final also with engine failure. Though the silver lining for the Bayer family is Martin was able to pass Alain Bernard Arnaldi to take charge of the race and be crowned champion!
Stay tuned for the video round up!

Large Scale Touring Car Euros - Feldmann on pole

The current champion sets the pace as the favorite is out!
The Semi final B saw an intense battle between pole man Markus Feldmann and Alain Bernard Analdi with Markus finally finishing in the position he started in with Alain spinning into the grass with 30 seconds to go, cars #7 of Nicola Costantino Marrone and #8 of David Bowen got past a troubled mid field with #4 Christoph Flakowski and #6 Guido Ruster both seemingly having problems handling their cars, as did former world champion #5 Martin Lissau, exiting the semi after 28 laps.
The semi Final A was for the most part less eventful, TQ man Ales Bayer held a huge lead on brother Martin Bayer. 3rd place event qualifier Mathieu Briere hit problems and whilst battling with car 9 of Marcus Clark Wohlert looked unlikely to make the final. However in the dying moments of the race, Ales appeared to spin out, stall and despite the desperate attempts of his mechanic his engine failed and the event favorite was out. Current champion Markus Feldmann will take pole in the final and will have Martin Bayer behind him followed by Dario Vesali. Stay Tuned!
