Thursday Qualifying Update

As the track closes after the first two rounds of Qualifying, who sits at the top of the pile?
After today's scheduled two rounds of qualifying were completed, it was Frenchman Alain Arnaldi who set the benchmark, notching up 27 laps in 10:02.330, in his second round of qualifying. In that second round, he was pushed hard by compatriat Mathieu Briere, who fell short of the time by just half a second. Third overall is German driver Guido Ruster, 2.5 second behind the leading French pair. Italy's Andrea Catalani is fourth, a further half second back.
Current World Champion, Guilaume Solon (FR), is fifth with his first round time, whilst defending European Champion, Martin Bayer (CZ) is seventh.

Tomorrow sees two more qualifying rounds scheduled, along with the lower finals. The upper finals take place on Saturday, with the Semi Finals just after lunch and the Main Final scheduled for approx 15:30 local time.
