Round 4 - Another new TQ driver!

Yannic Prumper becomes the 4th different driver to set the fastest time in as many rounds!
German driver Yannic Prumper set the fastest time in the fourth round of qualifying, after a titanic battle. Through the last two heats, many drivers traded fastest laps and let the scoreboard. But when the clock stopped after the final 5 minute heat, it was Yannic's name at the top, half a second ahead of his Yokomo team-mate Ronald Volker.

Viktor Wilck took his Thunder Power motivated Tamiya to third in the round ahead of Steen Graversen's similarly powered Awesomatix (car pictured).
Fifth in the round was Marc Rheinard, who initially was keeping pace with Yannic but dropped back a little towards the end. The Current World Champion is pleased to now have two good scores in, but wants to try to challenge for pole in the final round.

Rounding out the top 10 from Q4 were Alexander Hagberg, Christopher Krapp, Dominik Fleischmann, Jilles Groskamp and Juho Levanen.
So the overall standings, with 1 round remaining are:
1 Yannic Prumper (2 points)
2 Ronald Volker (2)
3 Marc Rheinard (5)
4 Alexander Hagberg (5)
5 Christopher Krapp (5)
with Marc Fischer (5 points), Viktor Wilck (7), Steen Graversen (10), Jilles Groskamp (12) and Andy Moore (12) completing hte current A Final lineup.
But with any of the top 6 potentially able to take the overall pole position, there's certainly lots to play for in the final round.

Stay tuned for more updates, and later this evening our full qualifying round up!
