4WD Q2

Cragg to the top!
British driver and 2WD Top Qualifier Neil Cragg has topped the second round of 4WD Qualifying here in Pau. The Associated / LRP driver (car pictured) set a time that was nearly 6 seconds quicker than his closest challenger, Round 1 pacesetter Jorn Neumann.

Cragg, who was only 10th in the first round after a number of incidents, now moves into the final qualifying round knowing that only himself, Jorn or Lee Martin (2nd in Q1, 7th in Q2) have a shot at pole.
Behind Neil and Jorn in Round 2, Neil's teammate Paul Bradby took third in the round, with Viktor Wilck netting another fourth place.

Hupo Honigl was fifth, after colliding with Lee Martin on the main straight in the middle of the run. Austria's Peter Pinisch made it a good round for Associated / LRP taking his buggy to another sixth place run. Lee Martin was seventh , Armand Lantheaume was eighth, Martin Kreil ninth and Marc Rheinard tenth.
So currently overall, counting both rounds, Jorn Neumann leads Hupo Honigl and Viktor Wilck, with Lee Martin fourth and Neil Cragg fifth. Paul Bradby is sixth, from Peter Pinisch, Marc Rheinard, Danny McGee and Armand Lantheaume.

The final round is now underway, stay tuned for more details!
