The BRCA is hosting the 2023 EFRA 1/12 European Championships, we look forward to welcoming you to the Eastbourne Club at Robertsbridge Community College in April for what promises to be a great event.
This is the Stage 2 Report and Event Information pack, please read the full document as there is information in here you’ll need to know.

- The competition is for 1/12th LMP Cars to 13.5 Spec & Modified Classes – rules to be distributed by EFRA
- All races will be eight minutes in length
- The racing surface will be Track GT carpet measuring approx. 35M x 16M
- Track markings will be square white tube, carpet overlay and apex markings.
- Race timing will use the My Laps system.
- The pits will have tables and chairs for each driver plus mechanics as required.
- The technical inspection service will begin on Thursday during registration. Items will be checked, marked and sealed as per EFRA Rule requirements. Please read through the BRCA Technical Information here
- Nominated Additive is Spider Grip Blue.

NOTE:-Â These times may vary depending upon entry numbers, except for the finishing time on Sunday as we appreciate people will have fixed travel times.
TRACK
The venue has a separate hall for the track and the pits, the track is 560sq meters, with a separate pitting hall for at least 100 drivers.
The club is very experienced, running numerous National meetings and were a significant part of the organising team for the 2020 IFMAR 12th Worlds, they will be supported by the BRCA section committee.

Media & Commentary
The event will be streamed live, with a full commentary.
All the supporters of the event will get recognition in all media streams.
Frequencies Allowed
2.4 Ghz, 40 & 27 Mhz – others possible by arrangement, please ask – prior to entry.
Electricity Supply
The UK operate to 230V and our plugs look like the picture below. (Google ‘BS1363’ for full details)
We will have adapters to the EU standard available.
Trophies & Awards
In addition to the normal trophies there will be a Concours D’elegance – this will be for the most realistic body / paint scheme run during the event.
We will almost certainly have some fun awards too!
GETTING HERE
Robertsbridge is located 100km south of London.
The nearest International Airport is London Gatwick, which is 65km away.
The nearest port is Newhaven at 50km and Dover at 80km.

From North using the A21:-
Exit the A21 at the Northbridge Street roundabout 3rd Exit heading towards Robertsbridge. Stay on Northbridge Street, into The Clappers and onto the High Street, looking out for Station Road on the right following signs for the Railway station. After turning right onto Station Road, continue over the railway crossing onto Brightling Road taking the second exit onto Knelle Road. Follow Knelle Road to the end where Robertsbridge Community College is located.
From South using the A21:-
Exit the A21 onto George Hill heading towards Robertsbridge (If you miss this take the first exit on the next roundabout and follow the instructions above). Stay on George Hill, looking out for Station Road on the left following signs for the Railway station. After turning left onto Station Road, continue over the railway crossing onto Brightling Road taking the second exit onto Knelle Road. Follow Knelle Road to the end where Robertsbridge Community College is located.
When you arrive at the Community College head around to the right following the road up and round to the left for parking. Then follow the road a little further and the hall is down the steps.
